Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Joyce (nee Caswell), age 59, of Woodbury, Minn., Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, died peacefully at home on June 20 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Joyce (nee Caswell), age 59, of Woodbury, Minn., Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, died peacefully at home on June 20 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 20, 1953, in St. Paul; grew up in New Brighton; graduate of Moundsview High School. Married Kevin Joyce on June 3, 1978, in Forest Lake. Worked 12 years and retired from Fortis Financial and The Hartford in Woodbury; then assisted her daughter, owner of Sweet Peas Floral in Woodbury. Delighted in being a grandma.
Survived by husband, Kevin; son, Justin, and daughter, Tara (Chad) Carlson; grandson, Tiegen Carlson; siblings, Carolyn (Don) Anderson, Mary (Glen) Larson, Steve Caswell, Bonnie Van Auken; and many others who loved her.
Preceded in death by parents, Mary and Steve.
Mass of Christian Burial was 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, at Church of Guardian Angels, 8206 Hudson Blvd. N., Oakdale. Visitation was 1 hour prior at church and was from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 25, at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., 651-738-9615. Memorials preferred to the American Lung Association.
