Thomas M. "Tom" Halfpenny, Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, of Woodbury, age 77, passed away peacefully March 31 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Thomas M. "Tom" Halfpenny, Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, of Woodbury, age 77, passed away peacefully March 31 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tom served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps and was employed in sales and marketing by 3M and Minnesota Mutual/Securian. He was very active in his church, community and service organizations. His love of music and cars led him to become involved in many car clubs and community bands.

He will be greatly missed by wife, Constance "Connie"; children, Susan (Rick) Stoeckel, Janice (Brent) Bostrom and Stephen (Laura); grandchildren, Brittany, Seth, Ryan, Rachel, Leah, Haley, Sam, Ethan, Enya, and Lydia; brother, Fred (Virginia); relatives and friends.

A special thank you to the staff at The Pillars Hospice for their wonderful care.

Visitation 4-7 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr., Woodbury. Memorial service 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, at Woodbury United Methodist Church, 7465 Steepleview Rd., Woodbury, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Woodbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

To the Halfpenny family, Sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Janice. My father Herb passed away on April 9th after a short but painful battle with cancer and share in your family's grief. Greg and Colleen Mielke family
