Members of the Woodbury American Legion “Fighting 501st” worked the Wall of Thanks at the Valley Creek Mall Saturday’s in December through Dec. 19. Mall visitors were able to donate money to benefit the Christian Cupboard food shelf and post the name of a veteran, currently enlisted members of the military, or their own name, on a placard and affix it to the Wall of Thanks. As of Dec. 15 shoppers had donated $710 and the total was expected to exceed $1,000 by Saturday, Dec. 19.
