On Saturday, Dec. 12, the Math and Science Academy FIRST Lego League (FLL) Division 2 (ages 12 – 14) team “G3”took top honors at regional competition in St. Paul. They received first place awards in the Overall, Programming, and Robot Performance categories and will be one of four to five teams in the division to advance to the state tournament at Mahtomedi High School Jan. 30, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Team members are: front left, Alison Creeger, Anish Chandak, Jack Mockenhaupt; back left, Mikayla Dalton, Josh Kofalt, Carl Cobian, Jacob Siekmeier.
