Sen. Amy Klobuchar

Speaking at a western Twin Cities construction site Monday, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., said she is working on legislation to require broadband conduit to be laid whenever a federally funded road project is built. She said it would save money because as it is now, often roads are torn up to install cables to pipe the Internet and other broadband services around the state.
