The wind turbine erected last year at Great River Energy in Maple Grove stands at 166-feet in height, which is 22-feet shorter than the turbine District 833 school officials say they would like to install at East Ridge High School. Woodbury city officials have toured the turbine in Maple Grove in recent weeks to gain perspective on the structure as they determine whether to allow a turbine of that height to be built in the city.
