East Ridge sophomore James Tidd qualified for the state meet in the maximum four events. Tidd took first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.70 seconds, won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1 minute, 41 seconds and helped the Raptors’ 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay teams reach state.
