The Muslim community celebrated the second greatest holiday of the year beginning Friday, Oct. 26. The festival commemorates the prophet Ibrahim’s, willingness to sacrifice his son to God. The holiday also marks the end of the pilgrimage to Mecca. Muslims observe the holiday by sacrificing an animal or donating to charity as an act of thanksgiving.
