Alyssa Wynn performs on New York’s Broadway

Alyssa Wynn, an East Ridge High School sophomore, sings, third from right, March 1 at a charity function for Haiti relief at the B. B. King Blues Club on 42nd street and Broadway in New York City. She performed two songs with “Rockers on Broadway” in an event that included John Arthur Greene, pictured, who plays Riff in the Broadway production of West Side Story, and Tony award nominee Constantine Maroulis of American Idol fame. Wynn was one of nine performers from across the nation invited to participate after attending a Broadway Dreams workshop. The workshop she attended was held last month at East Ridge. Submitted Photo
