Jim, there aren't great REASONS why the residents aren't welcoming it. To reject the very notion without any solid motives is a bit snobbish, don't you think? Again, you even try to bring up the proximity to kids, but why? What purpose do you have for even saying it? Do YOU have proof these people are dangerous to ANYBODY, or do you not? If you don't, then your reasons are suddenly very hollow and selfish, and substanceless.

Jeff K. We are in the process of answering all the questions that were asked at the meeting on Saturday. It takes a little time but we plan to get a copy of our answers out to everyone before any final decisions are made by us or by the City. I'm sure you can understand that it is difficult to give accurate information and answer questions when many people just wanted it known that they are against the project, for whatever reason. We made an honest attempt at an "open discussion" and plan to do more.

Candidly, it seems as though this meeting was really nothing more than a weak attempt to have an open discussion. Of the 100 some odd questions posed, very little of the questions were actually answered. When will we get the answers to these questions? Where will the meeting notes be published? No one knows.
