I agree with Steve and Kelly. There was no reason to build this mall and it never should have been approved. Five years from now they will be bulldozing this monstrocity to make room for Woodbury's 4th or 5th Applebee's, 3rd Wal-Mart, and maybe another Walgreens or CVS.

Woodbury is a retail ghost town? I don't know where you get your information from, but it's way off.

This mall was a bad idea from the get go. It has little value for this part of the country. I hope city planners do some research before approving any more retail space. The days of build it and they will come are long over. Now its build it and it will soon sit empty for decades. Please stop already. We have become a retail ghost town.

In high school I actually went to a Track team party on the site the mall is located now. Back then it was just a farm house and a field. Then again, so was the rest of that part of Woodbury! ;-)

I used to frequent that "mall" back when it had the outlet stores in it. I found great deals there. Then it all dried up and the only thing left is the Applebees, which I still enjoy from time to time...

Steve, you should channel that energy somewhere positive. The hatred people have for Woodbury and our shopping is amazing. How could care about something so trivial in life. Do you cringe when you drive by and spout off in anger? There are bigger fish to fry. Take a deep breath it will be o.k.

Tearing this Shopping Cul-de-Sac (hardly in the center of anything) down would be the best thing that could happen to this dog. Think back before the massive concrete block wall rose up from the wetlands and the freeway drivers were not offended by the backs of some junky boxes with brightly lite signs of failing retail shops. Most women have found better things to do than parade this faux center and most teen girls have long determined that this is not a place to find teen boys. Move Trader Joe's down off its dominant perch high above the low point on the road and it won't be so "unapproachable -- there are plenty of available retail locations in Woodbury. Maybe in the thrice named mall just east of Woodbury Drive.
