I'm with Dave on this. I'm tired of seeing young, able-bodied, bright men (mostly construction workers) idle in my neighborhood. Get these people back to work on nation building (for US)! Let's repair and rebuild our bridges and roads, create the facilities to give our kids the education they need to compete, etc., etc. These are Minnesota work ethic folks (mostly men) who WANT to contribute to community. The other side needs to stop whining about people on "welfare and unemployment" and give them a chance to do real work . . . that's what this bill does! Wouldn't you rather have your tax money go to creating jobs and badly needed infrastructure than handing out unemployment checks? This is a no-brainer! Getting people back to work should be job #1, and it appears that Bunn, Saltzman, and Swails get it.

Sound perspective,Dave. Thank you for defending our fine senator and representatives from the relentless attacks by the regressive extremists on the republican side.
