Students got their hands dirty – literally – last week during the “Messiest Art Camp Ever!”
The art camp, held March 14-15 at the Evergreen West Park pavilion, was offered through Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department and KidCreate Studio.
During the art camp a total of nine students, ages 4 to 9, did a variety of “messy” art projects including painting with plaster, papier mache, and other painting projects.
“Kids enjoy getting their hands dirty and digging right in,” said camp instructor Crystin Voxland, of KidCreate Studio. “In every other activity they’re told to keep things clean, so this is the opposite of what they’re used to.”
