A 23-year-old Woodbury man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the murder of a St. Paul woman, according to a news release.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office announced today that police, acting on information developed by detectives, executed two search warrants – one in Woodbury on Quarry Ridge Lane, the other in Brooklyn Park. Evidence gathered in the search led to probable cause for the arrest of the Woodbury man, who has not yet been formally charged.
The man was arrested in Woodbury, the release states.
The body of Brittany Clardy, 18, was found hidden in a car inside an impound lot after last being seen Feb. 11.
According to the release, the suspect had “numerous” warrants for his arrest from Georgia.
More details are expected to be released at a 3 p.m. news conference today.
