Woodbury senior Mario Franco had a team-high 22 points as the Royals beat No. 3-ranked Roseville 80-71 last Friday.
Woodbury earned its biggest win of the season last week – and Mario Franco was a huge reason why.
Franco, a senior, had a team-high 22 points as the Royals beat No. 3-ranked Roseville 80-71 last Friday.
Down 40-27 after the first half, Woodbury rallied for the win over the conference and section rival Raiders. Franco was key to the comeback effort and sank a crucial 3-pointer late in the game to seal the win. Woodbury is now 11-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference. Franco is fourth on the team in scoring at 10.9 points per game.
