FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Woodbury, Minnesota, in the City Hall at 8301 Valley Creek

Road, until 1:00 P.M., CDT, February 14, 2013, at which time they will be publicly opened and read

aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following:

2013 Well No. 6 and Well No. 15 Maintenance Project

City of Woodbury Project No. 08-2012-01 Well No. 6 and

City of Woodbury Project No. 13-2012-02 Well No. 15

In general, work consists of the following approximate quantities:

Removal, repair, and reinstallation of a well pump and replacement and

additions to piping, chemical, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Bidders desiring a paper copy of the Bidding Documents may obtain them from the Issuing Office of WSB

& Associates, Inc., 701 Xenia Avenue South, Suite 300, Minneapolis, MN 55416 upon payment of a non-

refundable fee of $75.00. Bidding Documents may be seen at the office of the City of Woodbury Public

Works/Engineering Department and at the Issuing Office. Complete digital Proposal Forms, Plans, and

Project Specifications for use by Contractors submitting a bid are available at www.questcdn.com. You

may download the digital plan documents for a nonrefundable fee of $25.00 by inputting Quest project

The City of Woodbury has adopted a standard document entitled “Standard Project Manual for Utility and Street Construction”, dated March 1, 2012, which includes the Procurement and Contracting Requirements and Specifications which are hereby incorporated into the Bidding Documents. Bidders are required to obtain a copy of this standard document once per year. An electronic copy may be obtained

Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance

with the Instructions to Bidders.

The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
