Hargis to remain leader of key transportation panel
Former Woodbury Mayor Bill Hargis was reappointed last week to his post on the Metropolitan Council.
Former Woodbury Mayor Bill Hargis was reappointed last week to his post on the Metropolitan Council.
Hargis, who served as Woodbury’s mayor for more than 18 years until 2011, will continue to serve as Transportation Advisory Board chairman for Met Council. He represents District F on the board, which includes Washington County and part of Ramsey and Anoka counties.
The eight-person Transportation Advisory Board advises Met Council on transportation and planning issues.
