Junior Justin Herold-Plakut finished third at the prestigious Rumble on the Red Tournament in North Dakota in the 152-pound weight class. Herold-Plakut, ranked No. 2 in his weight in Class AAA, also won the championship at 160 pounds Saturday at the Cannon Falls Invitational.

Fresh off an all-state performance last year, Herold-Plakut, a junior, finished third at the prestigious Rumble on the Red Tournament in North Dakota in the 152-pound weight class. Herold-Plakut, ranked No. 2 in his weight in Class AAA, also won the championship at 160 pounds Saturday at the Cannon Falls Invitational. There he beat Hastings’ Dan Marquette, who is ranked eighth at 160 pounds, 3-2 in the final.
