The Woodbury Chamber of Commerce has a new leader.
Executive Committee Chair Heidi Bardwell, of Woodbury YMCA, named Barbara Warren the chamber’s new executive director Wednesday afternoon.
Warren, an entrepreneur and consultant, will fill the position left by the chamber’s first-ever executive director Travis Martinson, who resigned in October.
“She was definitely our candidate that certainly goes above and beyond with experience,” Bardwell said. “She brings a wealth of information to our chamber and will continue to let our chamber grow.”
Warren will start leading the organization later this month, coordinating events and committees, providing volunteer support and being the “voice of business in Woodbury,” Bardwell said.
In addition to her consulting experience, Warren served as president of the Southern Anoka County Chamber of Commerce.
