Renard Suggs is taking his play to a new level this season and he’s bringing Woodbury along for the ride.

Suggs, a senior guard, scored a game-high 26 points to help the Royals beat No. 2-ranked Edina last week. Suggs sank four 3-pointers in the 78-72 win. He also had a team-high 24 points and five 3-pointers in a 58-49 win over Shakopee and had eight points and a team-best five assists in the Royals 83-61 win over Rosemount. Woodbury is currently 3-1 on the year. Suggs leads the team in scoring at 22.0 points per game.
