Letter to the editor: Woodbury man’s roadside assistance lauded
There are still people in the world who stop to help those in need.
There are still people in the world who stop to help those in need.
On Sunday, Nov. 25, our son, who is a relatively new resident of Wisconsin, was driving back to his apartment in Marshfield, Wis., after a plane ride from Baltimore to Minneapolis following the Thanksgiving holiday. While driving, the axle of his car detached, giving off sparks and starting a small fire which burned itself out. Woodbury resident Bob Bretwisch, who was rushing to see his daughter in the emergency room, saw the incident from the opposite side of the median and stopped to help. He even stayed with our son until AAA arrived. In addition, he called our home to let us know our son was OK.
We are truly grateful for the assistance that Bob Bretwisch gave; he is a true Good Samaritan.
