Photography studio, Best Buy mobile open in Woodbury

A new photography studio opened in Commerce Hill last month.

Miroslavich Photography owner and photographer Melissa Miroslavich said she moved her studio from St. Paul for the larger space, parking and easy access off the freeway.

The studio, which has been operating for the last decade, focuses on family, relationship, styling for the shoots, custom framing and holiday card printing.

Miroslavich said she does photo shoots on location or in studio based on what fits her clients best.

“We go wherever to get the best environment for what we’re trying to create,” she said.

The studio also offers styling advice for clothing choices, as well as custom wall collages and tips on how best to display the photos.

“We can also have the stylist be a part of the session itself and ultimately hang the pieces in your home,” she said. “It takes a lot of the pressure off.”

Best Buy Mobile opens at Tamarack Village

A new Best Buy Mobile opened at Tamarack Village, just across the bridge from the newly remodeled Best Buy store in Oakdale.

The store focuses on cellphones, tablets and mobile devices.

“It’s basically the same type of concept as the Best Buy mobile department inside of Best Buy, but just its own store,” manager Nick Sack said.

The store occupies about 1,800 square feet of space.

“It’s a more targeted atmosphere, more of a one-on-one,” Sack said.
