1:13 a.m. update: Bearth ousts Pulkrabek in County Board race

Former Oakdale Mayor Ted Bearth unseated incumbent Commissioner Bill Pulkrabek in the race for Washington County Board's District 2.

Former Oakdale Mayor Ted Bearth unseated incumbent Commissioner Bill Pulkrabek in the race for Washington County Board's District 2.

With just one Oakdale precinct left to report at 1 a.m., Bearth led the vote total 10,245 to 9,186.

Bearth now assumes control of a seat occupied by Pulkrabek since he was first elected to the board in 1998. Washington County's District 2 includes eastern Woodbury, Lake Elmo and Oakdale.
