One of Woodbury’s most diminutive athletes came through with one of the Royals’ biggest performances last week.

One of Woodbury’s most diminutive athletes came through with one of the Royals’ biggest performances last week.

Woodbury seventh-grader Haley Orf led the way for the Royals girls cross country team at last week’s Section 4AA championship meet, taking 14th place overall. Orf missed out on a trip to the state meet by one spot with her time of 15:14.1 – just one second back of Como Park junior Elana Breitenbucher, who got the last State qualification with a time of 15:13.1 in the 4K run. As a team, Woodbury took seventh place with 201 points.
