Letter to the editor: Event was special for WHS Hall of Fame inductees

As three of the inductees to Woodbury High School’s inaugural Hall of Fame, we want express our appreciation to the Royals Booster Club, Hall of Fame committee, and all the wonderful school personnel and volunteers for honoring us in such a special way on Sept. 28. You certainly know how to host a classy event.

From the personalized signs at our reserved parking spots to the celebratory parade to the wonderful reception to the beautiful plaques, we felt so special. We are also touched by the thoughtful, generous gifts we received, all of which will serve as special reminders of this amazing day. It’s evident that a great deal of work was put into the planning and execution of this celebration, and we are very grateful.

We are proud to represent WHS, and commend you for creating this wonderful program. Thank you!
