It might look close, but they’re not at the finish line yet.
According to a city of Woodbury InTouch update, the first phase of the Valley Creek Road construction project – which stretches from Bielenberg Drive to Interlachen Parkway – likely won’t be done until Nov. 10.
The home stretch involves a busy day on Monday, Nov. 5, when only right turns will be allowed at the intersection of Valley Creek Road and Radio Drive.
Access will open up, however, in time for Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 6, the city said.
“For those who vote at City Hall, no construction activities will be taking place on Valley Creek Road between Donegal Drive/Central Park Place and Tower Drive on Election Day. There will be full access to City Hall,” the city’s announcement states.
The second phase of the project, which runs from Interlachen Parkway east to Woodbury Drive, is expected to begin Nov. 10.
All dates – except for Election Day – are weather permitting, the city states.
