Q: Why are you running for Woodbury City Council?
A: Because I want to be a voice for residents’ concerns. I want to be able to help them with common sense solutions.
Q: What issues do you think are most concerning to Woodbury residents and how do you plan to tackle them?
A: Future growth and traffic. Limit growth in phases so that the city and school districts can adjust and be prepared. Proper long range planning for common-sense traffic solutions. Listen and adjust to residents’ concerns.
Q: Woodbury is a developing community. How do you envision Woodbury in the future, five or 10 years from now?
A: I see the growth and population of Woodbury increasing with the opening for development in southern Woodbury. I see Woodbury as a well-maintained and well planned city that will attract many new businesses and residents.
Q: Are there any parts of the zoning ordinance that you wish to change to accommodate for redeveloping areas of Woodbury? If so, what and why?
A: The zoning ordinances will always be dynamic and changing to reflect the long-term goals and Comprehensive Plan of the city.
Q: One of the biggest and most expensive projects the city has taken on is the expansion and remodeling of Bielenberg Sports Center. Are you supportive of using taxpayer dollars for the project and why?
A: Absolutely! Having a premier sports complex is a tremendous asset to the residents of Woodbury.
