Pam Cunningham is a candidate for Minnesota House of Representatives in District 53A. She is a resident of south Maplewood, and an active volunteer within the community.
Pam’s involvement in School District 622 has been diverse, ranging from a variety of districtwide committees as well as being a member of the school board for the past eight years.
She is a founding member of the 622 Education Foundation and served as a director for 14 years, including two years as president. With her help the foundation has provided funding for more than 400 grants to teachers. In addition, Pam was instrumental in the development of the Angle Fund grant, which provides educational necessities to students whose families are in financial distress.
Our reasons for supporting Pam Cunningham go beyond her vast school district and 622 Education Foundation knowledge and experience. As past officers of the foundation, we have observed Pam demonstrate her sincere, intelligent and caring personality. She will give consideration to all viewpoints before making decisions. Special interest groups will not sway her. She understands the need to budget and manage finances and will, first and foremost, be certain that whatever she supports will be in the best interest of the community.
Please vote for Pam Cunningham for representative in District 53A on Nov. 6.
