Bulletin Athletes of the Week: Woodbury's Mikayla Mayer

Woodbury senior swimmer Mikayla Mayer was dominant in a pair of meets last week. In two meets, Mayer earned four individual first-place finishes, one relay win and two third-place relay finishes. Mayer took first place in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle in a dual meet with Hastings – and at the True Team Section meet last week. She also helped the Royals’ 200-yard free relay team win the event at the section True Team race.
As the season winds down, it appears as though Mikayla Mayer is just getting started.
Mayer, a senior sprinter for the Woodbury girls swimming and diving team, was dominant in a pair of meets last week.
