Letter to the editor: Call off the attack dogs, Sen. Lillie
In the last few months I have received three separate mailings viciously attacking Ted Lillie’s opponent in our local District 53 state Senate race.
In the last few months I have received three separate mailings viciously attacking Ted Lillie’s opponent in our local District 53 state Senate race. Each time I have been shocked by the distorted claims and ugly innuendos aimed at destroying Susan Kent’s reputation and credibility.
I find this type of dirty politicking disturbing and offensive. No matter what their political leaning, I would bet most Woodbury voters appreciate fair play and resent receiving oversized brochures with exaggerated fear mongering and unattractive portrayals of an opponent. I will be voting for candidates that engage in civil discourse, and focus on positive ways to represent Woodbury voters.
I challenge you, Ted Lillie, to call off your attack dogs and run a clean campaign.
