WOODBURY CITY CODE BY AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ZONING.

TITLE: ARTICLE III. ZONING DISTRICTS AND DISTRICT REGULATIONS

SUMMARY OF WOODBURY ORDINANCE NO. 1858

Chapter 24, Zoning, sets forth the section of the City Code that establishes minimum regulations governing development and use. This chapter divides the city into zones and establishes standards in regard to location and use of structures and land. The purpose of the chapter is to protect the public health, safety, comfort, convenience and general welfare in the City of Woodbury. Modifications are proposed to the following districts: R-1 Urban Reserve District; R-2, Single-Family District; R-4, Urban Residential; NC, Neighborhood Commercial District; B-1, Office Park District; MC, Medical Campus District; B-2 General Business District; B-3, Planned Shopping Center District; BC, Business Campus District; GW, Gateway District; I-1, Light Industrial District and CC- City Center. The following districts are proposed to be created in Chapter 24: FC-1, Freeway Corridor Mixed Use District; FC-2 Freeway Corridor Special Impact District; B-4, Office Warehouse District; MX, Mixed Use District and SH, Shoreland Overlay District. The purpose of the amendments and additions are to implement the comprehensive plan and adopted master plan, reflect changes to state statutes, update zoning definitions and procedures and improve readability and organization.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS TITLE AND "SUMMARY OF THE AMENDMENT TO THE WOODBURY CITY CODE BY AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ZONING," CLEARLY INFORMS THE PUBLIC OF THE INTENT AND EFFECT OF THE ORDINANCE AND CONFORMS WITH MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 412.191 AND SECTION 331A.01, SUBD. 10.
