Letter to the editor: Insider’s perspective reveals Remakel to be strong candidate

I worked with Nancy Remakel for many years when she was a council member and I was city administrator.

Based on that experience, I most enthusiastically support her candidacy for the position of Washington County Commissioner. In the many roles she has taken on in government, she has acquired broad and deep experience with the issues that confront our county. Most important, however, are her personal qualities. She is an independent thinker who can sift through the data she is given to make thoughtful decisions, and she excels at working with others to create workable, practical solutions. We are fortunate to have such a capable candidate for county commissioner.
