Woodbury's Primrose School named franchisee of year by international business group

A Woodbury school received international recognition this month from a business group.

Primrose School of Woodbury received the International Franchise Association’s Franchisee of the Year Award during a Sept. 10 business conference.

“The IFA is proud to recognize the outstanding efforts of Tonya and Travis Holt with the Franchisee of the Year Award,” said IFA Chairman Jon Luther. “The franchising community is an important component of the U.S. economy due to the hard work of these exemplary individuals who have helped bolster the growth of the industry.”

The Holts, among 31 franchise systems recognized at the group’s annual public affairs conference held in Washington, D.C., have operated their franchise at Primrose since it opened in 2007. The business provides child care and early education, serving more than 150 families.
