Letter to the Editor: Veterans memorial golf tournament was a hit

Local businesses, citizens, veterans and city officials turned out in force in support of the Woodbury Veterans Memorial on Aug. 13 at Eagle Valley Golf Course.

A substantial amount of money was raised, all of which will go to funding and maintaining the Veterans Memorial at Woodbury City Hall. A good time was reported by all who participated, and we hope everyone will return for the third annual Veterans Memorial Golf Tournament in Memory of Dick Stafford in 2013.

Thanks to the community of Woodbury for supporting this important cause.
