ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Woodbury, Minnesota, in the City Hall at 8301 Valley Creek Road,, until 1 P.M., CDT, Thursday, October 11, 2012, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following:
Well No. 18 Pumping Facility, City Project 12-2010-01
In general, Work consists of the construction of a pump facility for Well No. 18, consisting of building, well pump, interior piping, utility piping, chemical feed equipment, electrical controls, HVAC, and related appurtenances.
Site quantities consist of approximately:
230 LIN FT 16" DIP
150 LIN FT 12" DIP
2 Drain Manholes
1000 CU YD Re-grade on site bailing material
400 CU YD Common Fill
800 CU YD Sand Fill
760 TN Aggregate Base
300 TON Bituminous Pavement
Along with miscellaneous utility improvements, removals, restoration, and correlated appurtenances.

Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed
60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of
60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
