Bulletin Athletes of the Week: East Ridge's Bailey Ness

For better or worse, the East Ridge girls cross country team has a target on its back this year – and Bailey Ness is a big reason why.

For better or worse, the East Ridge girls cross country team has a target on its back this year – and Bailey Ness is a big reason why. Ness’s second-place finish at the St. Olaf High School Showcase last week helped the Raptors take first place out of the 31 teams that took part. The junior All-State runner finished second overall in the 4K race with a time of 15 minutes, 6.4 seconds, helping East Ridge edge second-place Chanhassen and Suburban East Conference and Section 4AA rival Roseville, which was third.
