Woodbury crowned its new royalty on Monday, Aug. 27, during the Woodbury Ambassador’s Royal Family Coronation.
The coronation was held Aug. 27 at King of Kings Lutheran Church.
The 2012-13 Miss Woodbury is Math and Science Academy senior Lexi Wolfe, sponsored by YMCA of Woodbury.
The 2012 Little Miss Woodbury is Liberty ridge Elementary fifth grader Savannah Schemenauer, sponsored by Asia Bistro.
The 2012-13 Senior Queen is Shelley Kowalczuk, who works at Caribou Coffee Company as a senior buyer/planner in packaging. Kowalczuk is sponsored by Lori Zimmerman Insurance Agency.
Rounding out the Woodbury Ambassador Royal Family are: Little Miss Woodbury princesses Leah Kalinoff, a fourth grader at New Life Academy, and Minda Li, a third grader at Liberty Ridge Elementary; and Miss Woodbury princesses Kennedy Bertram, a junior at Woodbury High School, and Kasie Rewey, a junior at East Ridge High School.
In addition to the crowning of the new ambassadors, the coronation also included a farewell slideshow from the 2011-12 Woodbury Ambassadors Royal Family and presentations from the Minnesota Aquatennial and St. Paul Winter Carnival royalty.
