Letter to the editor: Safety attention appreciated at dicey intersection
This was a very interesting article dealing with the concerns of safety crossing the intersection of Lake Road and Wyndham Way.
This was a very interesting article dealing with the concerns of safety crossing the intersection of Lake Road and Wyndham Way.
I look forward to seeing changes that will not make crossing Lake Road feel like an extreme sport. While this is a particularly challenging place to cross, I continue to be amazed at the lack of compliance with the law of stopping for pedestrians in crosswalks. Could this be due, in any part, to a lack of accountability? I would love to see our police officers begin to enforce this law so that everyone can be a little safer.
