Letter to the editor: Recent writers’ shots at Lillie have been misfires
I have seen a plethora of complaints and harsh acerbic ad hominem attacks against the honorable Sen. Ted Lillie recently in this publication.

I say to these letter writers, read the actual legal complaint by Michael Brodkorb. It is not a complaint against Sen. Lillie, it is against all of us – the state of Minnesota, the Minnesota Senate and Cal Ludeman. In the actual text of the complaint it is reasonable to assume Democrat legislators and their aides are as involved as much as any party. So it is nonpartisan.
The honorable Sen. Ted Lillie has responded appropriately in concert with others fulfilling his constitutional obligations to defend us against such attacks on our legislative bodies. This is a mandate and obligation. To suggest otherwise is gross ignorance.
I am also appalled at the continued population-censor attacks against the honorable Sen. Ted Lillie. The great majority of current Woodbury residents have “moved here.” To suggest moving here has some innate negative quality under any circumstances is arrogant when it is likely possible some of our recent negative letter writers have also “moved here.”
Again my dear friends, readers and voters – and letter writers – read the complaint and to the negative letter writers: stop complaining.
