Woodbury City Council to hold annual budget workshop Wednesday

Woodbury City Council will hold its annual budget workshop at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Woodbury Public Safety Building.

Agenda items include an executive summary of the 2013 budget, discussion of the budget by each department and the proposed 2013 tax levy.

Among the big ticket items to be discussed is an expanded Bielenberg Sports Center with a proposed $21 million price tag.

The annual budget discussion is held ahead of a September meeting where council will set the preliminary levy.
