More development happening in Woodbury

The next Woodbury development to add more housing is moving forward with its plans to expand.

No oppositions to the Ridgestone first addition were heard at a neighborhood meeting the city held July 26, said City Planner Eric Searles.

The builder is requesting approval for 35 single family lots on the north side of Lake Road in the eastern portion of the city.

This addition follows the second and third, located south of Lake Road, that were approved in 2011 to the same builder, Lennar Corporation.

“It was originally all one project,” Searles said. “It was separated just because of the roadway.”

Ridgestone is one of a number of developments currently in the works in Woodbury.

Stonemill Farms, Turnberry, Wyncrest, Bailey’s Arbor and Kingsfield are all in the process of building.
