After first week, two candidates in District 622 race

Two candidates have filed for candidacy in District 622 School Board race.

School Board Members Theresa Auge' and Steve Hunt filed for candidacy on July 31 and Aug. 6, respectively.

There are a total of four District 622 School Board seats up for election this November – Auge', Hunt, Nancy Livington and Pam Cunningham. Cunningham's seat will be open since she is currently a candidate for House District 53A.

All terms are four years. Candidates have until Aug. 14 to file for candidacy. There is a cost of $2 to file.

The withdrawal period will be until 5 p.m. Aug. 16. Candidates who withdraw will not be refunded their $2.
