Hundreds of people took advantage of a short break from the heat during Woodbury’s annual Coin Carnival.
The Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department-sponsored carnival was held at Ojibway Park on Friday, July 27.
The Coin Carnival is a family event where children can participate in a variety of “coin” games such as a ring toss, fishing, the duck pond, boat races and several beanbag toss games.
Each game handed out “penny prizes” to the kids.
Visitors also enjoyed a moon bounce, crazy hair, temporary tattoos, spin painting and even the city’s Puppet Wagon.
