One files for District 622 School Board

After the first day of filing, only one has filed for candidacy in the District 622 School Board race.

Incumbent Theresa Auge' filed for candidacy on Tuesday.

There are a total of four District 622 School Board seats up for election this November – Auge', School Board Members Steve Hunt, Nancy Livington and Pam Cunningham.

All terms are four years.

Cunningham's seat will be open since she is currently a candidate for House District 53A.

Candidates have until Aug. 14 to file for candidacy.

There is a cost of $2 to file.

The withdrawal period will be until 5 p.m. Aug. 16. Candidates who withdraw will not be refunded their $2.
