Woodbury may not have a water park, but a number of kids felt the rush of water games last week at Colby Lake Park as part of the Woodbury Olympics.
The city of Woodbury holds an annual summer playground program that includes eight weeks of outdoor fun with a different theme each week.
Last week was Olympic Week, where the kids got to play a variety of games in an easygoing tournament format.
Wednesday was water day. The kids were soaked in a giant slip and slide, a “drip, drip, soak” game and dodge ball.
Molly Huntley, who works for the city of Woodbury Recreation Department, said the children are able to sign up for individual weeks or more than once during the summer program.
