Woodbury junior Lisa Huska earned All-State honors in the 300-meter hurdles with her 45.50 in the prelims of the Minnesota State Track and Field Meet on Friday at Hamline University.
Lisa Huska’s drive and determination helped her reach a season-long goal last week.
Huska, a junior, earned All-State honors in the 300-meter hurdles with her 45.50 in the prelims of the Minnesota State Track and Field Meet on Friday at Hamline University.
In the girls meet, though she fell in the finals and finished ninth with a time of 49.23, Huska earned All-State by qualifying for the finals. Huska was in the Royals’ state-qualifying 400-meter relay last year, but this was her first time in an individual event at the state meet. Huska was the 300-meter hurdle champion at the Section 4AA Meet.
