Woodbury’s Mac Mitsch, a senior goalie and team captain, helped the Royals boys lacrosse team enter playoffs on a three-game win streak after beating Rochester Century 6-2 and Breck 5-4 in a pair of non-conference games last week. In the win over Rochester Century, Mitsch had 10 saves, allowing only two goals. He then had a game-high 14 saves in the victory over Breck.

Mitsch, a senior goalie and team captain, helped the Royals boys lacrosse team enter playoffs on a three-game win streak after beating Rochester Century 6-2 and Breck 5-4 in a pair of non-conference games last week. In the win over Rochester Century, Mitsch had 10 saves, allowing only two goals. He then had a game-high 14 saves in the victory over Breck. For the year, Mitsch went 7-5 with 148 saves, a 5.56 goals against average and a .698 save percentage. The wins put the Royals one game over .500 at 7-6 on the year.
