Bulletin Athletes of the Week: Woodbury's Abiola Abodunde

Woodbury’s Abiola Abodunde continued to show why he’s a force to be reckoned with on the track and in the field this season.

    At last Tuesday’s Bob Stewart Invitational, Woodbury junior Abiola Abodunde won the 200-meter dash and the triple jump with a leap of 44-05.75, which was the fifth-best recorded distance in the state thus far this season. Abodunde also helped Woodbury’s 400-meter relay team win its race at the invite.

Woodbury’s Abiola Abodunde continued to show why he’s a force to be reckoned with on the track and in the field this season.

At last Tuesday’s Bob Stewart Invitational, Abodunde won the 200-meter dash in a time of 23.39 seconds and finished first in the triple jump with a leap of 44-05.75, which was the fifth-best recorded distance in the state thus far this season. Abodunde also helped Woodbury’s 400-meter relay team win its race at the invite with a time of 43.68. Woodbury finished in third place in the meet behind first-place Mounds View and second-place Stillwater.
