The East Ridge girls golf team fared well in a pair of Suburban East Conference tournaments last week.
East Ridge shot a nine-hole 197 to take seventh out of 10 teams at North Oaks Golf Club on Monday before shooting a 189 to take fourth place on Wednesday at the White Bear Yacht Club.
At the White Bear Yacht Club, Molly Richardson led the way for the Raptors with a 42, followed by Andriel Aimua with a 47. Lindsey Garahty (49) and Jaedyn Walz (51) rounded out East Ridge’s top four.
Stillwater’s Cassie Deeg and Cretin-Derham Hall’s Celia Kuenster each shot 35 to share medalist honors. Stillwater won the match with a 176. The finish put East Ridge in second place in the overall conference standings – just behind Stillwater.
At North Oaks, Deeg won medalist honors with a 35. The SEC-leading Ponies won the match with a 160. East Ridge’s individual results were not made available.
Next, the Raptors are to compete in a conference match on Thursday at Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury.
