RECEIPT AND OPENING OF BIDS: Sealed Bids for the work described below will be received at the Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road, Woodbury, MN, 55125 until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012, of at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: In general, work consists of the following approximate quantities:

249,736 SY Seal Coat Aggregate (1/8" Trap Rock)
23,204 SY Seal Coat Aggregate (1/4" Trap Rock)
68,235 gallons Bit. Material for Seal Coat (CRS-2P)
together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications.
PLANHOLDERS LIST, ADDENDUMS, AND BID TABULATION: The planholders list, addendums, and bid tabulations will be available at the City of Woodbury as shown below. Any addendums may also be distributed by mail, fax, or email.
TO OBTAIN BID DOCUMENTS: Bidders desiring a copy of the Bidding Documents may obtain them at no charge from the issuing office of the City of Woodbury - Engineering Division, at:

The City of Woodbury has adopted a standard document entitled "Standard Project Manual for Utility and Street Construction", dated March 1, 2012, which includes the Procurement and Contracting Requirements and Specifications which are herby incorporated into the Bidding Documents. Bidders are required to obtain a copy of this standard document. An electronic copy will be made available to bidders at no charge from the City of Woodbury Engineering Division. Paper copies are also available for the non-refundable fee of $100. The low bidder will be given one paper copy of this document at no charge.

BID SECURITY: A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of the City of Woodbury shall accompany each bid.
OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids.
OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
